ABOUT ME
Victoria Herrera is a self-taught ceramic sculptor born in Barcelona, currently based in Styria, Austria. With a background in art and professional photography, her practice develops through direct engagement with the material — building knowledge through making.
Her work investigates organic morphology and transformation through biomorphic ceramic forms. Working primarily with stoneware, she develops sculptural structures that move between abstraction and references to biological life, exploring how unfamiliar forms can evoke processes of growth, mutation, and emergence.
Her work has been featured in Parnass art magazine (issue 4/2023) and acquired through private gallery representation. She has participated in Pots und Blitz, Vienna (2021, 2023), and works on private commissions and direct collector sales.
She works from her studio in Styria under the name The Shape Ceramics.
